A prestige skincare line, engineered around one hero routine.
Maison Vellum was born from a category truth: prestige skincare had become crowded with promises but light on repeatable ritual. We built a minimalist five-SKU line focused on the skin barrier — one cleanser, one serum, one moisturiser, one balm, one nightly ritual.
The brief
Fewer products. Better results. Priced for the vanity, not the aisle.
The founder came to us with a moodboard and a chemistry PhD. What she needed was a category thesis, a product architecture, and a route to prestige distribution within twelve months. We wrote the positioning, mapped the SKU ladder, and led the sprint from formulation to first fill.
What we did
End-to-end build. Nine months, one team.
The result
Sold-out launch, waitlist for restock, and a national retailer contract on day sixty.
The launch capsule sold through in eleven days. A prestige retailer opened conversations after the first press wave, and Maison Vellum is now available in 42 doors across two continents. The routine mattered because the product did.
